It took almost 30 years and was then over too quickly! Our first railtour with our own HST set was an amazing experience and one we are eager to repeat in the future – watch this space! It was great to see so many on the tour and even more on the platforms as we passed through.
A VERY big thank you to all our volunteers, some of whom have spent weeks making sure everything was 100% for the tour & Midland Railway – Butterley for the continued use of their facilities. We’d also like to thank the RailAdventure team who have also been hard at work to ensure a successful day!
