First Great Western
First Great Western operate services predominately into and out of London Paddington station in West London to the South West of England and South Wales. HSTs serve the following main routes:
- Paddington - Reading - Didcot Parkway - Swindon - Chippenham - Bath Spa - Bristol Temple Meads - Weston Super Mare - Taunton
- Paddington - Reading - Swindon - Bristol Parkway - Newport - Cardiff Central - Bridgend - Port Talbot - Neath - Swansea - Pembroke Dock (Summer Saturdays only)
- Paddington - Reading - Westbury - Taunton - Exeter St Davids - Newton Abbot - Plymouth - Truro - Penzance
- Paddington - Reading - Westbury - Taunton - Exeter St Davids - Newton Abbot - Paignton
- Paddington - Plymouth - Newquay on Summer Saturdays only
FGW also operate a number of other key and peak services using HSTs on the following routes:

East Midlands Trains
East Midland Trains operate services predominately into and out of London St Pancras station in North London to the East Midlands. All HSTs serve the following route:
- St Pancras - Bedford - Kettering - Corby
- St Pancras - Luton - Bedford - Wellingborough - Kettering - Market Harborough - Leicester
to either;
- Derby - Chesterfield - Sheffield - Doncaster - Wakefield - Leeds
- Nottingham
National Express East Coast
National Express East Coast operate services predominately into and out of London Kings Cross station in North London to Yorkshire, Tyneside and Scotland. HSTs serve the following routes:
- Kings Cross - Stevenage - Peterborough - Grantham - Newark - Retford - Doncaster - Wakefield Westgate - Leeds
Leeds services can continue to or start from Skipton or Harrogate
- Kings Cross - Peterborough - Doncaster - Hull
- Kings Cross - Peterborough - Doncaster - York - Darlington - Newcastle - Berwick - Edinburgh
Edinburgh services can continue as follows:
- Edinburgh - Kirkaldy - Dundee - Aberdeen
- Edinburgh - Stirling - Perth - Aviemore - Inverness
Cross Country
Cross Country Trains operate services predominately from and to the south west up through to Scotland. HSTs serve the following main routes:
